Join us for Fireworks at the Gunpowder Mills on Saturday 7 November 2026 4:30 PM-8.00 PM for a mesmerising display of fireworks set against the historic backdrop of the mills. Bring your family and friends for an unforgettable experience that will light up the night sky. 

This much-loved annual fundraising event is back for another spectacular year, bringing fireworks, fun, and family-friendly entertainment to the heart of Waltham Abbey. 

The events includes:
Children's entertainer
Fire performers
Rawdons Regiment Musketeer weapon demonstrations
Children's Ultra-violet Glow disco 
Historical characters including Guy Fawkes himself!
Awe-inspiring fireworks display by a leading UK company (planned for 7.40pm)
Glow item stall, UV face paint, funfair rides and food and drink vendors at an additional cost. 

Remember remember...to add your car parking ticket to your order. Parking on site is limited and only possible with a prepaid ticket. 
Please walk or use public transport. There is some parking in Waltham Abbey and limited paid parking spaces available at our site. 

LAST ENTRY: 6.45pm

Please note that sparklers, dogs, alcohol, food and drinks cannot be brought into the event. Bag searches will be in operation.

Please note: Child tickets are for visitors under 18 years old. All children and young people under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult during this event.

Gunpowder Mills is a Registered Charity 1210355 and all ticket profits help us maintain this important historic and natural environment for public enjoyment. The event would not be possible without the expertise of our volunteers in organising and stewarding.

This will be a very popular event and the Gunpowder Mills are encouraging people to walk or use public transport to the site. There is some parking in Waltham Abbey and limited paid parking spaces available at the Gunpowder Mills .
