Ignite your science curriculum with explosive experiments led by Professor Gaunt! Students will explore the science behind rocket launches, learning about forces and Newton’s laws of motion.
After lunch, they design, build, and launch their own air-powered rockets, applying fair testing and scientific thinking in a hands-on, engaging way.
The day finishes with a visit to our Rocket Vault, where students see real rocket designs and discover how rocket technology has evolved over time.
This interactive workshop brings STEM learning to life, inspiring curiosity, teamwork, and problem-solving.
“It was a fantastic day out. We have previously done the rocket making activity which is great but the addition for the science show was perfect. A fantastic mix of activities for a whole day of fun. Just perfect! Thank you for a wonderful day.”
