Spooky Kids Open Day This October Half Term! 🎃

Looking for a fun-filled day out with the kids this October half term? Our popular Kids Open Day is back for a special spooky edition, packed with hands-on activities, creative crafts and plenty of Halloween fun.

Join us on Wednesday 28 October 2026 for a day of making, creating, exploring and getting into the Halloween spirit. Whether your child loves getting crafty, experimenting with something new or simply having fun outdoors, there’s something for everyone.

What’s On?

✨ Spooky slime making – get creative and make your very own Halloween-inspired slime

🏮 Colourful Guy Fawkes-inspired lanterns – create your own colourful lantern to take home, inspired by the history and traditions of Bonfire Night

🎃 Spooky tie-dye – make a Halloween-inspired T-shirt using our tie-dye materials. Please bring a plain white cotton T-shirt for your child to decorate.

👻 Blow-painted ghost art – get creative with this fun and spooky art activity

Plus, enjoy exploring the site and making the most of the great outdoors during your visit.
